hi cristina i think your art is out of this world i have used one of your prints as a reference curious observation, i really hope you do not mind ,i am not trying to sell my work i only do it as a hobby; so if you could take a look at my gallery and tell me what you think i would be so grateful .
My first ever attempt at scratchboard was a wolf in a second level art class in school, nose and eyes are the most challenging parts. How on earth did you get detail on the nose to look so textured?! I can only hope with time I become this talented :j
I have seen lots of realistic traditional art... some more popular and more complicated than this... but this one really comes alive. You are a very rare talent and one I must always look unto for inspiration. Thank you...
It's beautiful. It's like he's thinking..."Are you gonna eat that? Really? The whole thing? All by yourself? I could eat some of it. Maybe I could just have a taste? Really?? You're just gonna eat that all by yourself... And I am just sitting right here...two feet away, Oh wait.. are your breaking off a piece for me?"
It's real. It looks so tangible... What incredible work. Beautifully captured expression and amazing detail work. Contrasts, tonal values and textures executed beautifully. I keep wanting to reach out, just to make sure it's not real. Well done on capturing the essence and life-like qualities in this portrait.
